Seminar Materials are available for download now and will be available for two weeks after the event. No hard copy materials will be provided.

TRAVEL NOTICE: We received notice from the Nebraska Department of Roads that there will be construction on the Giles Northbound to I-80 Eastbound ramp starting September 2 and will last throughout the entirety of the 2014 NSBA Annual Meeting. Embassy Suites has provided us with a map suggesting alternative travel routes to the hotel & conference center.

Have Your Photo Taken for the NSBA Online Directory. RCL Portrait Design, who specialize in “Executive Portraits”, will be at the meeting all three days to photograph members for the NSBA online directory. The photographs will be taken at the annual meeting, and there is no cost for you to participate. A professional portrait photographer will photograph you in several poses. You will then be able to view your proofs immediately through an instant video system and choose your picture. Additional portraits will also be made available to those wishing to purchase them, however there is no obligation. Please visit RCL Portrait Design online at to schedule your appointment.

The results of the 2014 Judicial Performance Evaluation are now available. The Judicial Performance Evaluation is a biennial evaluation of Nebraska judges by Nebraska lawyers, coordinated by the Nebraska State Bar Association. Evaluations are available for the past 8 years.

The results represent an average score on each characteristic for each judge, using the 5-point scale noted on the top of each page. No attempt has been made to determine an overall rating for each judge, nor has any attempt been made to compare one judge’s scores with those of any other judge. That is not the purpose of this evaluation and such a comparison would not be statistically valid.

No attempt has been made to verify the answers expressed by lawyers responding to the poll. Soval Solutions, LLC., an independent research firm in Lincoln, compiled the results. The responses represent a collection of individual opinions, which have been gathered and tabulated solely for their informational value. The Judicial Performance Evaluation does not present scientifically accurate conclusions, nor does the poll constitute an official NSBA opinion or position. It is a collection of individual opinions gathered and tabulated solely for informational value.
