The Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) is the pro bono program of the Nebraska State Bar Association (NSBA). Created in the early 1980s, VLP furthers the NSBA mission, “Helping Lawyers help People.” VLP creates and coordinates pro bono opportunities that are convenient, rewarding, and impactful for Nebraska lawyers.

The VLP Attorney works under the direction of the VLP Director, assisting with planning and implementing of VLP pro bono activities across Nebraska. The principal office for this position is in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is a full-time, exempt position. Generally, duties are performed Monday-Friday between the hours 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with some evening, weekend, and extended work days. This position requires travel between Omaha and Lincoln to facilitate VLP programs, which requires a valid driver’s license and reliable, insured motor vehicle.
