The public information site is to help people understand the justice system. This section offers information on where to go if you can't afford an attorney and to inform Nebraskans of their fundamental rights and responsibilities under the law.

- Free Legal Brochures Now Available. The good news is that the NSBA's informational brochures are newly edited, reprinted and available again! A consumer's guide to legal help on the internet. Click on findlegalhelp.org for additional information.

- Low Income Level Legal Services has great resources for civil legal assistance, resource referral, community development and education. Check out either the Legal Aid of Nebraska or VLP for help.
- The Client Assistance Fund was established by the Nebraska State Bar Association. Its purpose is to reimburse a client who has suffered a financial loss due to the dishonesty of an attorney.
- As a service to the Courts, attorneys and clients, the NSBA now offers a voluntary legal fee arbitration program.
- The Counsel for Discipline has a paid staff of attorneys that investigate and prosecute grievances against attorneys admitted to the practice of law in Nebraska. One of the primary purposes of the attorney disciplinary system is to protect the public, find out more information here.
- The NSBA Speakers Bureau will arrange for a volunteer attorney to speak to your group on the legal topic of our choice. We have many attorneys, representing a wide range of practice areas, who are prepared to speak to a variety of age groups and types of organizations.
- Nebraska Press Guidelines are a set of recommended standards for reporting.
- NSBA provides evaluations for judges at many levels in the court system.
- We are pleased to provide additional resources for your research and professional growth needs.
- Search for any lawyer in our database by name, city, phone, etc.
- Professional Liability Insurance Certifications for all active members, per Supreme Court rule.
- Minority and Justice Committee identifies actual or perceived racial/ethnic bias and discrimination in the Nebraska justice system and make recommendations to the Supreme Court on how to address any identified inequities.
