2016 is here, and many things have changed regarding your online presence and social media. This webinar will walk you through the ethics of advertising, solicitation, and websites and using Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.  The webinar will also cover semi-social platforms like Avvo, along with content creation.

What you will learn:
• How to ethically and properly establish your online profiles
• Issues surrounding the ethics of claiming a profile
• Ethical issues surrounding reviews and solicitation
• The ethics of content and comparative speech
• Posting on social media and what you can say
• Blogging: What you can and can’t do, including client confidentiality & disclaimer violations

This CLE delivers real, educational content that lawyers need to navigate their online presence ethically. Once the CLE is complete, you will understand the best practices for ethically using social media, as well as how to avoid the traps of selfreviewing, improperly commenting on blogs, and misrepresenting your services online.
