Women, Influence, and Power in the Law
This event will focus on the unique aspects of the work force that women face, including but not limited to how to negotiate,  how to establish a healthy work-life balance, lessons in leadership, and tips in general on career development for women of all stages of their law career. We will discuss tips on how to successfully negotiate employment contracts and salaries, how to contract with a firm to be a "partner" and what the financial obligations of that entail. We will also focus on leadership within the workplace, responsibilities and obligations of a managing partner, framing and advice on time-off policies for employees, etc. Lastly, we would like to touch on professional responsibility in the stress and case-load management aspects of being an attorney, how to properly manage a work-life balance so that you are giving your clients 100% and still providing for your own health and well-being.
