Life as lawyers is not exactly relaxing. You work long hours and are under extreme pressure. It is imperative that you are able to develop skills that help you manage anxiety and stress. Mindfulness is one such skill. Jon Krop, a mindfulness expert with a thriving law practice in New York City, will teach you mindfulness techniques that lawyers can use to learn to be in the moment.

Mindfulness for Lawyers

Life as lawyers is not exactly relaxing. You work long hours and are under extreme pressure. It is imperative that you are able to develop skills that help you manage anxiety and stress. Mindfulness is one such skill. Jon Krop, a mindfulness expert with a thriving law practice in New York City, will teach you mindfulness techniques that lawyers can use to learn to be in the moment. This is an active workshop in which participants should be able to leave with skills needed to implement mindfulness into their daily work lives.

Jon Krop leads the Mindfulness for Lawyers workshops. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has been practicing mindfulness for over a decade. He has studied with masters from around the world, including the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan master Tsoknyi Rinpoche, and western teachers Gerardo Abboud, Elisha Goldstein, PhD, Trudy Goodman, PhD, and John Yates, PhD. Jon has sat numerous meditation retreats, including a seven-month silent retreat with meditation master and neuroscientist John Yates. Jon is an associate at a public-interest law firm in New York City.
