The US Department of Labor recently issued amended regulations implementing the Fair Labor Standards Act, with the intention of expanding overtime pay coverage to millions of workers within the first year of implementation. This presentation will cover the following topics:

1. Coverage under the FLSA;
2. How the new regulations have changed the white collar exemptions and what has remained the same; and
3. Steps to identify and address affected employees.

Kara Ronnau’s practice at Cline Williams Wright Johnson and Oldfather focuses on estate planning, probate and estate administration. She counsels clients in matters involving court procedures and deadlines of Nebraska probate law and trust administration. Kara’s practice also includes estate and trust litigation, including will contests, fiduciary accountings and other contested issues related to estate matters. Kara also concentrates on employment matters, business organizations, and real estate transactions.
