This presentation will provide an overview of the equitable remedy of piercing the corporate veil in Nebraska. There will be a discussion of the veil piercing factors that Nebraska courts have looked to in disregarding the corporate entity, as well as the logistics involved in litigating such issues.
Christopher Peterson, of Wolfe Snowden in Lincoln, practices in the areas of business planning, commercial and business litigation, commercial transactions, estate planning, and trusts. He attended law school (J.D., with distinction) and business school (M.B.A.) at the University of Nebraska. While in law school, Chris served as Executive Editor of the Nebraska Law Review and as a Senior Member of the Moot Court Board. Chris is a Second Place Winner of the annual Robert G. Simmons Nebraska Law Practice Award.
