In 2014, the ABLE Act authorized tax-advantaged savings accounts for eligible people with disabilities to save for qualified disability-related expenses without impacting eligibility for resource-based public benefits like Supplement Security Income (SSI) and Medicaid. The Enable Savings Plan is a nationally available ABLE Program sponsored by the State of Nebraska. This informational session will review eligibility, impact to benefits and program features.

Amelis Long, Outreach Specialist
