The NSBA provides many resources to its members and to the public
to assist with legal research, and provide information on the state
of the law.
Casemaker is a comprehensive,
accurate, and timely source for Internet legal research. It is
provided free to active members of the NSBA. Having a resource
of this quality included as part of the annual NSBA membership
dues saves many members thousands of dollars per year. For more
information, see the Casemaker
Overview and the online help
files. If you are an active member and would like to access this
valuable membership benefit, please contact
the NSBA staff.
The Nebraska Lawyer Magazine
is published monthly by the NSBA and is sent to every member of
the Association. News, bar events, and relevant legal issues are
covered, along with a column from the NSBA President. Articles
from current and past
issues are available online for viewing and downloading. Each
volunteer issue editor seeks authors for articles in upcoming
magazines. For information on authoring a future magazine article,
see the guidelines or contact
the NSBA staff.
for a searchable index of past NCLE presentations. Seminar Manuals
may be purchased at the NSBA store. Selected individual articles
may also be purchased at the NSBA store. If you wish to obtain
an article that is in the index but not in the NSBA store, just
contact NCLE directly.
The NELawExpress provides
summaries of recent opinions of the Nebraska Supreme Court and
the Nebraska Court of Appeals, along with links to the full text
of the opinions. This valuable free resource is distributed weekly
by e-mail containing a link to the current issue on this website.
Past issues are also available. To subscribe to the e-mail list
contact
the NSBA staff. The NELawExpress is available to members of
the Nebraska State Bar at no additional charge thanks in part
to the generous support of our advertisers.
NSBA
is pleased to provide members with current and valuable information.
The E-Counsel Newsletter
is one of the best ways the Nebraska State Bar Association
has to communicate timely and helpful dates and facts to its constituents.
We recommend you make time to read the email newsletter!
Many other Internet legal resources are available as well. These
include current and past legislative
summaries prepared by the Association's Legislative
Counsel, and links to other sites containing legal
opinions. An extensive list of other Internet
Legal Resources is also available.
