Equipment leasing is increasingly commonplace as companies choose to lease rather than buy computers machines and capital equipment cars and other property essential to their businesses.  This program will provide you with a real-world guide to the law and principles underlying equipment leasing a practical discussion drafting or reviewing equipment leases compliant under UCC Article 2A avoiding re-characterization of a lease as a secured sale and an overview of the increasing practice of securitizing equipment leases and how it impacts the leasing process.
