The Program: Ethical Considerations in the contexts of self-represented parties and untruthful and unethical clients.

12:00 p.m. – 12:05 p.m.   What’s new with the NSBA (Health Insurance Consortium).
12:05 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.   Self-represented individuals and access to Justice.
1:15 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.   Self-represented individuals and office practice; contracts, business formation, other business dealings, and estate planning and distribution.
2:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  Break
2:30 p.m. – 3:35 p.m.   Four case studies in ethics and self-represented individuals.
3:35 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.   Break
3:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.   Ethical considerations when your client is untruthful or unethical.


Please bring your own lunch. Beverages for lunch and snacks for breaks will be provided. The NSBA wishes to thank the Nebraska State Bar Foundation for support of this CLE program in covering the cost of MCLE accreditation and reporting fees. The cost of the Seminar is a “freewill contribution” at the door, which will be used to defray the cost of refreshments.

This course has been approved for up to 4.0 hours of MCLE credit. Timely submit your request for credit using the program identification number given at the seminar.
