This FREE CLE is for current Volunteer Lawyer’s Project attorneys and attorneys willing to accept a VLP case referral in 2020. By registering to attend this CLE, you agree to accept a VLP case referral before December 31, 2020. You will be contacted after the CLE to make arrangements for the case referral. We appreciate your support of the Volunteer Lawyer’s Project!

This three-hour CLE will address the Nebraska Rules of Professional Conduct as they relate to representing populations that are more likely to be victims of crime: individuals living with cognitive or psychological impairments, victims of domestic violence, and immigrant populations. This CLE provides new and seasoned lawyers a review of ethics rules, and review of general substantive law, procedure, and practical advice for assisting victims of crime in civil legal matters.
