The Coronavirus is presenting employers (including law firms) with a number of employment law questions, along with questions about other implications for their business clients and own law firms. For Part III of this webcast, Mark Fahleson and Tara Paulson of Rembolt Ludtke are joined by special guest Jimmy Schluz from HBE to discuss tax provisions related to new laws and regulations going into place.

Mark Fahleson

Tara Paulson
Tara is the Chair of the Litigation Practice Group and member of the Executive Committee at Rembolt Ludtke and her practice primarily focuses on employment and labor issues, civil litigation and transportation. Tara has significant experience in employment litigation, including matters involving federal, state, and local employment laws. In addition to her litigation practice, Tara regularly represents clients in responding to administrative charges before federal, state, and local agencies, counsels employers regarding various labor and employment law issues, negotiates and prepares employment and separation agreements, reviews and revises employee handbooks, and drafts personnel policies

James D. Schulz, CPA, CVA, MT
James earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2005 where he majored in accounting. He also earned his Master of Taxation from the University of Tulsa in 2008. James received his Nebraska CPA certificate in 2007 and became a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) in 2009.

James has worked with HBE LLP since 2005, and he became a partner in 2011. His experience includes services related to various for-profit companies, including taxation, consulting, and valuation work. His industry specialization includes construction and manufacturing.

James is a member of the following organizations: the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), the Nebraska NACVA Chapter (President, 2011-2014), and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants.
