Volunteer Lawyers Project
VLP Needs 150 Volunteers by December 31
The holiday season is quickly approaching. While many Nebraskans prepare to celebrate the holidays, many more are worried about debt, safety, stability, and how they will afford basic life necessaries. Every day, people seek assistance from VLP volunteers, hoping an attorney will respond to their desperate pleas for an attorney to help them access our system of justice. YOU can make a life-changing difference in someone’s life this year.
Attorneys who register for NE Free Legal Answers, who accept a case for direct representation, or who volunteer at a Help Center through December 31, will be placed in a drawing for two tickets to the Annual Barrister’s Ball in March, 2017. The drawing will be held January 4, 2017.
