NSBA Privacy Policy

The Nebraska State Bar Association has developed this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy. This privacy statement describes the information we collect and how we use that information.

By providing information, you consent to the policies and practices described herein.

Site Visitors

NSBA does not collect any personal information from users browsing its website. Only aggregate data, such as page views, are collected. Aggregate data is used for internal and marketing purposes to describe site traffic and does not use personally identifying information.

NSBA Members and Other Registered Site Users

To use certain services provided through NSBA websites, you are asked to register with the site(s) and provide some limited information online. The majority of data we collect is used to help us serve our members and registered site users. Our policy is to collect and store only the personal information that our members and visitors provide.

How Does NSBA Use Collected Data?

NSBA uses information voluntarily submitted in several ways: (1) to provide site access based on user type (e.g. dues-paying member vs. non-dues-paying member); (2) to deliver content customized to user preferences; (3) to inform development of other NSBA services; and (4) to process transactions.

Online Privacy Policy Only

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our websites and not to information collected offline.

Disclosure to Third Parties

NSBA will fulfill its obligation to report CLE credits earned through the on-demand CLE portal to the Nebraska Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Commission.  NSBA will not make member information available to third parties.

Credit Card Account Information

NSBA does not disclose credit card information provided by its members and customers. When you pay using a credit card, NSBA submits the information needed to the appropriate credit card processor.

Third Party Links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer links to other websites. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

If we decide to change our policy, we will post those changes on this page.  This policy was last modified on June 30, 2016.
