Building a Roadmap for Your Success in Law
Do you have a set of goals and aspirations for your legal practice, but aren’t quite sure how to achieve them? If your answer is “no,” then this program presented by the Women and The Law Section is just the program for you.

On June 4, from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM, at the Thompson Center in Omaha, Megan Belcher, The Scoular Company, will teach you how to build an individual development plan (IDP) focused on achieving your career and development goals, as well as teaching you how to resource that IDP.  Whether it is growing your client base, launching your transition into an in-house practice, developing new and evolved business development skills, acquiring expertise in a new practice area, picking up new courtroom or transactional skills, growing as a leader of teams in your practice venue, or the infinite other options for your development as a lawyer, this CLE will demystify how to build a plan for your development and success.

Plan to walk away with a template IDP tool, a supporting 90-day development tool, and a list of resources focused on the legal industry that you can use as you continue your development journey!

This program is free for Women and The Law Section Members and only $25 for everyone else!

After the program please join the Women and The Law Section for “Cocktails and Conversation” networking reception at DJ's Dugout in Aksarben Village, 2102 S 67th Street.

Casemaker Weekly Update

Keyword Searching
The basic Casemaker search is the keyword search. It can also be the most complex if you wish – just use the search operators found in the blue Search Tips link under the Search button. To search first select your jurisdiction from the jurisdiction menu, then type in your word or words in the search bar and hit the blue search button. The keyword search can be found in other places as well. When you are viewing the list of cases you discovered in a previous search you can narrow that search by keyword in the left menu. If you are looking at a list of citing references you can also narrow that list by keyword on the citing references page.
