Summary

Hour 1: Labor and Employment Law Updates for In-House Counsel - This session will address the most recent labor and employment law updates in 2025 and what to expect moving forward. Chad will address paid sick leave both in Nebraska and across the country, labor law changes, wage and hour and disability leave management developments and much more. Chad will highlight changes that have occurred and those anticipated as well as practical strategies in light of these changes moving forward. Hour 2: Panel Discussion on Labor and Employment Law Developments - Building on the foundation of recent labor law developments, this panel will explore how employers, attorneys, and HR professionals are adapting in real time. Panelists will share compliance challenges, practical implementation strategies, and anticipated legal trends shaping workplace policies in the months ahead.
