Lifetime Giving Societies

Members of the NLF Lifetime Giving Societies have made a substantial commitment to the mission of the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation. These societies recognize levels of lifetime cumulative giving, beginning with a total of $25,000. Individuals, law firms, or organizations become members of the Lifetime Giving Societies based on their cumulative giving (including gifts made through the NLF Advocates) since 2004 to the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation. Cumulative giving is based on gifts pledged or received through the fiscal year ending December 31, and totals include employer-matching gifts. Qualifying gifts include confirmed commitments of cash, securities, real estate, or gifts-in-kind (see the NLF gift acceptance policy). The Legacy Society honors those who have chosen to leave a lasting impact by remembering the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation in their estate plans (see NLF Gift Guide).

  • On the Nebraska Lawyers Foundation’s website
  • In The Nebraska Lawyer magazine
  • Annually in the NSBA/ NLF Legacy Lunch Program
  • Annually in the Barristers’ Ball Program
  • With an inscribed glass panel on display at the Nebraska State Bar Association
