The Nominating Committee of the House of Delegates of the Nebraska State Bar Association is seeking nominees for the Public Service Awards to be presented at the 2025 Annual Meeting in October. Nominations should
be submitted to the committee on or before May 23, 2025.
George H. Turner Award
The George H. Turner award originated in 1964 and was established to recognize a member of the bar demonstrating unusual effort
in furthering public understanding of the legal system, the administration of justice, and confidence in the legal profession.
Award of Appreciation
The Award of Appreciation is awarded to an individual or organization in recognition of outstanding public service creating a better
public understanding of the legal profession and the administration of justice.
Award of Special Merit
The Award of Special Merit originated in 1973 and was established to recognize an individual or organization for services advancing
the legal profession, the administration of justice and the public interest.
Diversity Award
The NSBA Diversity Award was established in 2010 to recognize outstanding efforts made by firms, organizations or individual attorneys in promoting diversity in the legal profession in the State of Nebraska.
