The Nebraska State Bar Association works for Nebraska lawyers to help them achieve the highest standards of competence, ethics, and professionalism and to protect and promote the administration of and access to justice. All licensed lawyers are members of the Nebraska State Bar Association. Members who choose to support the mission of the Nebraska State Bar Association by paying voluntary dues are referred to as “sustaining members” of the Association. Sustaining members of the Nebraska State Bar Association help support programs designed to strengthen the legal profession and expand access to justice. Sustaining members receive access to benefits designed to support their practice. PLEASE NOTE: The NSBA no longer collects the Nebraska Supreme Court’s mandatory assessment, which is required in order to be licensed to practice law in Nebraska. To renew your Nebraska law license YOU MUST PAY THE MANDATORY ASSESSMENT TO THE SUPREME COURT using your Attorney Services account at https://attorneys.nejudicial.gov/. To renew your 2025 dues online, follow these steps 1) Log-In to your NSBA Account. 2) Locate and click on the **Your membership will expire on 01/01/2025. Renew now!** link. 3) Review your contact information and complete the online dues statement. 4) Submit payment. If you did not pay sustaining member dues last year, but wish to do so now, follow these steps: 1. Log-in to the NSBA website with your username and password. 2. After successfully logging-in, locate and click-on the Payments and History tab on the left hand side of the page. 3. On the Payments and History page, click on the Membership tab. 4. On the Membership page, click on the Upgrade Membership link. Complete the dues form and submit payment.

2025 SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES AND DUES
The NSBA’s Voluntary dues for 2025 are presented below.

- Regular Active – Members who were first admitted to the Bar of any State or jurisdiction in 2019 or before - $280
- Junior Active – Members who were first admitted to the Bar of any State or jurisdiction in 2020 or after - $140
- Senior Active – Members 75 years of age or older, during the dues year being billed-$140
- Judicial Active – Members who are presently serving as members of the judiciary and whose seat is located in Nebraska - $280
- Military Active – Members who provide proof that he/she is actively engaged in the Armed Forces at the beginning of the calendar year - Complimentary

- Regular Inactive – Members who are not actively engaged in the practice of law in the state of Nebraska - $80
- Emeritus Inactive – Non-practicing members who have attained the age of 75 years or have been engaged actively in the practice of law in the state of Nebraska for 50 years or more, during the dues year being billed - Complimentary
- Student Membership – A student member is any student of an accredited law school. Students enjoy all the rights and benefits of full members, except that they shall not have the right to hold office or vote - FREE
